Job Title: Assistant Head Professional  


Responsible to: Head Professional / General Manager


Responsible for: Retail / Lessons / Custom Fitting / Driving Range / Tee Sheet Management


Facility: Wycombe Heights Golf Centre is a busy members club, with play open to the public on both our courses. We have a large 24 bay flood-lit driving range fitted with Top Tracer technology, as well as a private Custom Fitting Studio.


Main Duties: 

The Assistant Head PGA Professional role is instrumental in delivering a memorable experience, both in terms of presentation standards, and the welcome our guests receive. The Assistant Head Professional will work closely with the Head Professional to assist them in achieving annual golf budgets.

We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated, energetic, personable, and eager to succeed in the golf business. 

You will work across all aspects of the golf operation department, with duties including 

  • Handle customer enquiries, bookings, shop sales
  • Assist with tee sheet management and policies
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge on our range of products stocked in the golf shop
  • Upselling retail items and maintaining a high standard of retail presentation
  • Carry out Custom Fittings
  • Complete club repairs
  • Conduct individual and group golf lessons
  • Assisting with Driving Range activities and marshalling
  • Assist the Head Professional in monthly stock takes, invoicing and transfers
  • Deliver the highest level of member and visitor service daily
