About Us: The Shropshire is a premier golf facility located in the heart of Shropshire. Our club features a 27-hole championship course, 9-hole par 3 course with 28 bay Trackman driving range pro shop and is committed to delivering an exceptional golfing experience for members and guests. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PGA Assistant Golf Professional to join our professional staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily operation of the golf shop and outside services
• Deliver exceptional customer service to members and guests
• Provide individual and group golf instruction
• Support and lead member events, leagues, and tournaments
• Club fitting and merchandising support
• Tee time management and point-of-sale operations
• Maintain a professional and welcoming environment
• Assist in junior golf and development programs
• Continue PGA education and development

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or a graduate of the PGA Professional Golf Management Program
• Prior experience in a golf operations environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and growing the game
• Proficient with POS systems, tee sheet management, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• PGA Associate or Class A Member in good standing (preferred but not required)
