About the role
VISION OF THE ROLE:
Under the general supervision of the Golf Course Manager and Driving Range Manager, the Ball Collector will participate in the collection of golf balls and overall upkeep of the driving range outfield in order to ensure the efficient running of our driving range for our members and guests.
To safeguard the long-term success of Burhill Golf Ltd for its stakeholders, Ball Collectors will display determination and focus in supporting the Course Manager & the Driving Range Manager to drive all elements of the Driving Range area to the highest level ensuring that Hoebridge is recognised as the premier family-centric golf and leisure destination of the surrounding area.
MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS:
The ball collector will be measured against key criteria:
* Customer loyalty measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS)
* Course manager / Driving Range Manager reviews, General Manager feedback, operational feedback.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main jobs involved in the role would be:
* Collecting golf balls from the Range outfield using a RTV Kubota and picking attachment and processing the balls through the range ball washer return system.
* Completing daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled maintenance on the range ball return system and RTV Kubota.
* Using initiative collecting balls from hard-to-find areas on the outfield
* Clearing and maintaining a tidy working area around the Ball machine.
* Ensuring the ball level is adequate at the end of shift and leasing with the Range Manager and Range team to ensure they have enough golf balls for their shift.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. Employee is regularly required to stand and walk outdoors
