Sidcup Family Golf is a vibrant and growing leisure facility, featuring two exciting 18-hole Adventure Golf courses, a 46-bay Driving Range with Toptracer technology, and a welcoming Café. Open seven days a week, we provide an engaging experience for all ages, rain or shine.
We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on Early Morning Team Supervisor to lead our opening team and ensure the Centre is fully prepared for guests each day. Role Overview
As Early Morning Team Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the Centre during early hours. You will lead the team in completing essential tasks such as ball collection, restocking, maintenance checks, and opening preparations to ensure the site is ready for guests by 9:00 AM daily.
You will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and be physically fit to support hands-on duties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and wants to play a key part in delivering operational excellence at the start of each day.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach, motivating the team to complete all early morning tasks effectively.
- Allocate daily tasks such as ball collection, machine restocking, minor landscaping and general site preparation.
- Take responsibility for a designated area of the business as delegated by the General Manager.
- Provide clear direction and support to ensure all operating procedures and safety protocols are followed.
- Deliver training, conduct staff inductions, and support ongoing development through regular 1-to-1s and performance feedback.
- Create and manage the first draft of team rotas for managerial review.
Health & Safety & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
- Fix or escalate maintenance and safety issues appropriately and promptly.
- Maintain personal training and compliance requirements through the Access Learning system.
- Ensure all required records and checklists are completed and stored in line with company policy.
Operational Support
- Oversee daily preparation tasks to ensure the Centre is ready to open for business by 9:00 AM, seven days a week.
- Monitor and maintain equipment used in morning operations, arranging for repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Order and manage supplies needed for ball collection and other early morning duties.
- Work closely with the wider operations and maintenance teams to support a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally within a leisure, operations, or maintenance setting.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, guide, and support others.
- A positive “can-do” attitude and strong team player mindset.
- Physically fit and capable of supporting outdoor manual tasks.
- Full-time availability, including early morning shifts from 5:30 AM.
- Basic understanding of health & safety principles (training will be provided).
