Sidcup Family Golf is a dynamic and growing business, featuring two exciting 18-hole Adventure Golf courses, a 46-bay Driving Range with Toptracer technology, and a welcoming Café offering delicious food and drinks. We are open seven days a week, rain or shine, providing a fun and engaging environment for all ages.
We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and sales-driven Duty Manager to focus on coaching the team through day to day operations and also driving events, group bookings, and business outreach. If you are passionate about sales, marketing, and team leadership, we want to hear from you!

Role Overview:
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring all team members follow the 'Customer Promise' to provide a consistently high-quality experience for every guest. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving revenue through event sales, local business outreach, and community engagement. You will create and implement a sales strategy, work closely with the team to achieve daily sales goals, and ensure exceptional customer experiences across our Adventure Golf, Driving Range, and F&B operations.
Key Responsibilities:
People & Leadership:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and building a high-performing team.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to support sales initiatives and ensure excellent guest experiences.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review sales progress, set targets, and drive motivation.
Customer Service:
- Train and develop the team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
- Ensure all staff understand and follow the 'Customer Promise' to provide an excellent guest experience.
- Monitor and improve customer service performance using metrics such as mystery shops and guest surveys.
- Implement initiatives to enhance the customer journey and increase satisfaction scores.
Sales & Marketing:
- Develop and execute a structured sales plan to increase event bookings, group visits, and corporate partnerships.
- Actively reach out to local businesses, schools, and community groups to promote our facilities and events.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing Team to create targeted marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Train and motivate the team to maximize daily sales and upselling opportunities.
Event Management:
- Oversee the planning and execution of parties, and group bookings.
- Ensure seamless coordination between team members to deliver exceptional service.
- Gather feedback from customers to improve and expand event offerings.
Health & Safety / Compliance:
- Ensure all health & safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Conduct regular venue audits and maintain compliance records using the Shield compliance system.
Operations & Administration:
- Support day-to-day operations across all areas of the business, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate financial and operational records, including compliance training and team schedules.
- Keep management informed of trends, concerns, and opportunities for business growth.
