MAIN DUTIES:

To ensure the safety of all pool users and to make sure all our facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. to always provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*         Ensure poolside rules are always complied with by pool users.

*         Always maintain vigilant supervision of the swimming pool and baby pool.

*         Administer first aid, effect pool rescues and apply resuscitation as necessary.

*         Maintain a valid RLSS/ISRM nation pool lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) and keep up to date through training and practice every month.

*         Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

*         To ensure that the poolside and surrounding areas of the club assigned for cleaning are kept clean and hygienic.

*         Ensure that all facilities equipment is put away and stored securely when not in use.

*         Comply with BGL personnel policies and procedures and health & safety procedures including the Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan.

*         Work alongside swimming co – Ordinator to help run an effect swimming timetable.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

*         Will be required to work evenings and weekends.

*         Working within a Humid environment.
