Job Summary:
As the first point of contact for members and guests, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment at Birchwood Park Golf & Country Club. This position involves handling front desk operations, managing bookings, providing information about the club and its facilities, and supporting the administrative needs of the club.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome members, guests, and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously.
Manage tee time bookings and reservations using the club's scheduling system.
Provide information about golf course conditions, club services, events, and promotions.
Handle membership inquiries, applications, and renewals.
Process payments for green fees, memberships, and pro shop items.
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
Support event registration and coordination with the events team.
Communicate effectively with other departments (golf operations, food & beverage, grounds staff).
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail distribution.
