About the role

Job Summary:

As the first point of contact for members and guests, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment at Birchwood Park Golf & Country Club. This position involves handling front desk operations, managing bookings, providing information about the club and its facilities, and supporting the administrative needs of the club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome members, guests, and visitors in a warm, professional manner.

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously.

  • Manage tee time bookings and reservations using the club's scheduling system.

  • Provide information about golf course conditions, club services, events, and promotions.

  • Handle membership inquiries, applications, and renewals.

  • Process payments for green fees, memberships, and pro shop items.

  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.

  • Support event registration and coordination with the events team.

  • Communicate effectively with other departments (golf operations, food & beverage, grounds staff).

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail distribution.
