About the role

Role Purpose To support the day-to-day operation of the Driving Range at Ramsdale Park, ensuring an excellent customer experience, a clean and safe environment, and smooth operational delivery.

The Assistant will work closely with the Range Manager and wider Golf Centre team to drive usage, promote TrackMan technology, support food and drink sales, and uphold the venue’s high service standards.

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Customer Service - Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests using the Driving Range. 
  •  Assist with equipment hire, range card top-ups, and general enquiries. o
  •  Support coaching staff and customers during lessons, group sessions, and TrackMan events. 
  •  Operational Duties o Monitor ball collection, replenishment, and dispenser operation. 
  •  Maintain range bays, seating areas, lighting, and TrackMan technology. 
  •  Serve food and drink in line with F&B standards, ensuring a friendly and efficient service. 
  • Ensure health & safety and food hygiene procedures are followed at all times. 
  •  Report maintenance issues promptly. * Sales & Revenue Support 
  • Promote range cards, lesson packages, TrackMan sessions, and retail offers. 
  • Support fitting events, promotions, and junior golf activities. 
  •  Drive food and drink sales, ensuring excellent upselling and customer experience.  
  • Contribute ideas to increase range footfall and customer engagement. 
  •  Standards & Presentation 
  •  Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the Driving Range. 
  •  Ensure signage, displays, and equipment are tidy and presentable. 
  •  Uphold Ramsdale Park’s customer service values in every interaction. 
  •  Compliance & Training - Complete and remain 100% compliant with all mandatory training, including health & safety, food hygiene, and customer service modules. 
  •  Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. 

 Skills & Attributes 

 Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner. 

 Reliable and proactive with a hands-on attitude. 

 Interest in golf and willingness to learn more about TrackMan technology and its benefits. * 

 Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 

 Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods. 

 Previous customer-facing, leisure, or hospitality experience desirable but not essential. * 

 Training will be provided in TrackMan operation, F&B service, and range operations.
