About the role

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Line Chefs to join our kitchen team. As a Line Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your section. You will work under the supervision of the Head Chef or Sous Chef and contribute to maintaining kitchen efficiency, hygiene standards, and food consistency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and recipe specifications

  • Manage your assigned section efficiently during service

  • Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and cleanliness

  • Assist with stock control and inventory checks

  • Monitor portion control and waste minimisation

  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team

  • Follow all food safety and health & safety regulations

  • Support junior kitchen staff and help with training when necessary

  • Help with deliveries and organisation of the kitchen stores

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Line Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie

  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health regulations

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Basic understanding of allergens and dietary requirements
