About the role
Do you love fixing things, keeping spaces running smoothly, and taking pride in a job done properly? Want to work somewhere that families and golfers, love coming back to? If you’re proactive, practical, and ready to take ownership of a varied and rewarding role, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero keeping Hoebridge Golf Centre looking great, running safely, and operating at its best. From the clubhouse to the grounds, Adventure Golf to the Driving Range, you’ll roll up your sleeves, lead by example, and make sure everything works exactly as it should.
You’ll work closely with the General Manager, contractors, and suppliers to maintain high standards, pass audits with confidence, and help position Hoebridge as the family-friendly golf and leisure destination in the area.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but you’ll be:
Managing and getting hands-on with day-to-day maintenance across the clubhouse, grounds, and facilities
Carrying out general repairs, painting, and routine upkeep
Leading and supporting the Adventure Golf and Driving Range maintenance teams
Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment in line with Health & Safety standards
Keeping service and training records up to date and audit-ready
Working with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money
Keeping the workshop organised, safe, and professional
Managing maintenance budgets and planning work priorities around business needs
Communicating clearly with managers, teams, and external partners
If it involves tools, presentation of standards, or keeping things running smoothly — you’re on it.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll know you’re smashing it when:
Audits are passed with confidence
Guests keep coming back
You’re getting positive feedback from the General Manager and department heads
The site looks great, runs safely, and feels well cared for
What We’re Looking For
A practical, hands-on maintenance professional
Confident using a wide range of tools and equipment (safely and correctly)
Organised, reliable, and proud of high standards
Comfortable leading others and working with external contractors
Someone who takes Health & Safety seriously — without losing momentum
A team player who communicates well and gets things done
